Beliefs
Is it something that you feel so true that you neither demand a proof, not bother about proving to others? Is it something that ultimately defines you and your compatibility with others to coexist?
Does these beliefs change with time, as they say 'getting matured', when your perspective and the way you think changes? I do not know. But what do I believe in?
So what are your beliefs?
Frankness. Speaking out when you really want to. Saying a no when you really feel it.
Honesty. Not compromising the truthfulness and honesty to oneself.
Love at first sight. Also love - the compassion that wells up your eyes when you see a friend or even a stranger in pain.
Humor, fun and celebration.
Beauty - of mind, of heart, of relations, of nature, of petty quarrels, the very beauty of life.
Freedom. Freedom to speak, to do, to think.... to be what you want to be.
Friendship. The beauty of this relation is that it holds all of these- frankness, honesty, compassion, fun and freedom.
Lord Krishna. I believe Him to be the very attraction in everything that feels attractive.
Bright days after every turmoil, a hearty laugh after every tear.
Achievement after hard work.
Life after death, atleast living in memories of the technically alive people.

i was just thinking abt things of this kind..
u r right...belief do determine the compatibility...especially beliefs like frankness, humor, love at first sight, friendship...each person has its own perspective about those beliefs...and ya, they change drastically with experience...
i have many such beliefs but they change when i see that the same belief is nothing for the person on the other side, i just loose faith in that...and the same happens in positive sense also...
what is to one may not be the same to the other...hmmm...
Interesting post DD! Well, I think beliefs are moulded through experiences and over a period of time, a belief that you hold may strengthen or weaken depending on different incidents, because belief is after all a perspective (or rather your perspective) of an idea, which can be thought of in a million different ways! :)..
As for me, I believe in hard work can help me achieve what I want, I believe that friendship (and true love) is giving without expecting anything in return..and many, many more! :)
Quite true, VJ. But not that it gets affected by just any other's perspective but by the success or failure for applicability of your beliefs to your own self. But yeah, others whom you deal with do contribute majorly to that success or failure!
Very matured thought, Anu! :)
good set of beliefs dd, I have been thinking what do I believe in. The only thing I can come up with is 'pursuit of happiness'. nothing lofty, nothing fancy, just this.
CK, interesting... Should I see pursuit of happiness as a goal or a belief?
